Because if you do no contact, that too is like rejection. They will begin to feel the loss. They can’t talk to you whenever they want anymore because you’re rejecting them, barely answering their messages, etc.
And these psychological tricks aren’t corrupt or bad. These are the laws of the human mind. Even love itself is based off of “psychological tricks.”

This video is almost exactly what I understand of relationships.
Rejection is a key for control. When you get rejected, you lose something. (Scarcity is very similar to loss.) When you lose something important, it drives you crazy, like death for an example. They didn’t lose you because you’re still begging for them and they think can get back with you whenever they want. But YOU can’t. That’s the key: You become desperate.
But if you do no contact, they feel they lost you for good.
